Here at Smile Train we see what mothers go through for their children each and every day. One such mother shares her story: "Upon seeing my son for the first time, I was shocked and asked myself if I had done anything to deserve this. Everybody at home was so shocked, nobody would talk to me. My in-laws started blaming me for the child's cleft. Things were getting worse, day by day.I loved my son so much and believed that someday a miracle would happen; that my son would have a beautiful face. One day, I saw a poster in the market showing free treatment done on similar faces. I travelled to the hospital for my son's cleft treatment and was elated to find the miracle I had hoped for. Today, I feel so happy for my son, thanks to Smile Train and its generous supporters." Please help us change the life of a child and give a mother something to smile about.
